Mat-Su Sentinel Donors
The Mat-Su Sentinel thanks its donors and supporters through public recognition of their support.
As a nonprofit news source operating in the public interest, we disclose the names of all corporate and philanthropic donors and supporters.
Our standard practice is to list donors who gift more than $5,000 annually. In limited cases, we may accept funding through donor-advised funds or other intermediary entities that request we do not publicly disclose or draw attention to the identity of the recommending donor. In these instances, we disclose the funding source as the intermediary. We accept such funding only when it is consistent with our mission, free of editorial influence, and does not create conflicts of interest. In these cases, we retain complete control over how content and newsroom work are executed.
Our full donor transparency policy is available here.
